Now · Product Manager III at Walmart Global Tech

I'm Shlok. I manage products by day and build things by night.

I lead the platform behind Walmart's property-tax payments. Before that, I spent three years owning NoBroker's highest-revenue business. Outside work, I make small tools with Claude Code.

Problems I've owned

Tap a row for the short version. Walmart work is internal, so it's described without numbers.

Problem

Property-tax payments at Walmart's scale were tracked by hand, so issues surfaced late.

Approach

A 0→1 platform for bill visibility, due-date alerts and reconciliation, built with the finance and tax teams.

Outcome

Manual tracking replaced by proactive alerts. Recognised with the Walmart Excellence Award.

Internal work: numbers and screens stay at Walmart.

Problem

The team needed live metrics now, not after an engineering slot opened up.

Approach

I built it myself with AI: the queries, the interface and the refresh.

Outcome

A live view that made root-cause analysis faster.

The method is mine to share; the dashboard isn't.

Problem

NoBroker's highest-revenue segment leaned on sales calls to convert; the self-serve funnel leaked at every stage.

Approach

User interviews plus funnel data, then a streamlined booking flow and a series of UX fixes, shipped stage by stage.

Outcome

Conversion doubled and the stage-wise funnel improved 50%.

Problem

Assigning movers to jobs by hand meant days of delay and unreliable service.

Approach

Rules plus automation for 70% of assignments, rolled out over two months.

Outcome

Turnaround fell from 57 to 15 hours, and job delays dropped 40%.
